Alex and I created delivereat.co.nz in order to help kiwis during the lockdown, through optimising every part of the project around sharing with friends, and amplifying this through remarketing and PR hacking – we achieved incredible results across 3 weeks. I’m so glad that it’s helped so many.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we created delivereat.co.nz as a way to help all Kiwis across New Zealand find an easy place to find out who was delivering food during the Level 4 and Level 3 lockdown. Within the first week we had reached over 250,000 Kiwis with the website and it went viral, shared over 2000 times. By the third week of lockdown it had reached close to 700,000. All thanks to positive PR, and viral hacking through simplying optimising the social meta image + title description to not truncate on the share + tell a sharp message.
